Ashirvad pipes started production in 1998 in Bangalore with a factory on a 1 acre plot and a turnover of 4 crore for the year 1998-1999, manufacturing uPVC column pipes for submersible pumps.
The company commenced exporting its uPVC column pipes in 2008 and today Ashirvad is the largest manufacturer and exporter of column pipes in the world exporting to over 30 countries. Ashirvad column pipes have been used with submersible pumps in more than 2.5 million bore wells installations, both in India and in several other countries.
In 2008, Ashirvad achieved the distinction of being the recipients of the NATIONAL AWARD for “OUTSTANDING ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN MEDIUM ENTERPRISE” for the year 2007. The award was presented to the MD of Ashirvad Pipes by the Prime Minister of India in 2008.
Ashirvad commissioned a new factory in Bangalore to manufacture SWR Pipes and fittings in 2012, introducing the Yellow seal technology for the first time in India.
Ashirvad achieved a turnover of 1000 Crores
Ashirvad entered into a partnership with M/s Aliaxis SA based in Europe. Aliaxis is one of the largest companies in Europe manufacturing products for management of water. It has presence in over 40 countries and a turnover of Euro 3 billion per annum. With technology and knowhow from Aliaxis SA, Ashirvad is now in the process of introducing several new products in the Indian market for plumbing, sanitary and drainage applications.

Bangalore, 30th March 2016: Mr.Sharana Prakash Patil, Honourable Minister of Medical Education, Government of Karnataka inaugurated ‘MidTown Rotary Ashirvad Skin Bank’. Ashirvad Pipes volunteered to fund for the infrastructure of the Skin Bank. Mr.Pawan Poddar, MD, Ashirvad Pipes during inauguration said “We partnered BMCRI’s Victoria Hospital and MidTown Rotary with the objective of providing cost effective and quality burn care treatment to all burn victims from all sections of society.”
Ashirvad Pipe participated in the ‘Run for a cause” organised by the Rotary Club of Bangalore supporting the orphanages and old home shelters around the city.
Ashirvad Pipes were one among the first to act on sending relief aid to the victims of the Chennai floods in 2015. Food materials, Medicine and other essential materials were dispatched from the, Bangalore.

Ashirvad has stepped up its efforts to reach the tier 2 and 3 cities of the country through a larger distribution network and working towards achieving a turnover of 3000 crores in FY 17-18

In 2015, Ashirvad Pipes was enlisted as an Approved Vendor for providing the following services / products; Manufacturing of CPVC & uPVC Pipes & Fittings.
In 2015, Ashirvad Pipes was awarded the Export Excellence Silver award for “BEST MANUFACTURER EXPORTER AWARD” in the Large Category.
